Honestly, I had warmed up to the Gate hire, BUT his presence today was un-nerving to say the least. Seeing him in his Dolphin hat pulled down low he looked to be about 17 years old, today he appeared to be a scary-weird, balding middle-aged man unable to tie a proper knot in his tie and a gaze that only Marty Feldman would find normal...

He’s been here for what, less than a week and he’s already made us a laughing stock for two of the days. Can’t we ever just be normal?

 

I caught Kay after Gase went off air. They were raving about him.

 

I recorded it on my DVR. The whole interview is over 20 minutes long. I agree that it was really good.

In other words, he's an idiot. Why was this dimwit anywhere near the hiring process? Jesus H, Christopher Wold and Robert Wood should only throw some pink Spaldings against the stoop, get hit in the face, suck more at what they're doing, and get the hell outta here. Well, the sad fact is, they're never getting the hell outta here.

I hope Crazy Face does well for/with Shoe Booty. I just want the Jets to win for Chrissake, but mostly I just stare at my hands in disbelief waiting for the next calamity.

 

"Sanctuary!" I actually liked Charles Laughton better in this role, but good one.

 

I've definitely warmed up to the hiring. Not sure why people are up in arms about his bug eyes, he's always looked that way. Regardless, he's young, a decent playcaller, and has a take-no-shit attitude. I like that he's eager to get to work with Darnold.

 

I rather have had the guy that developed Aaron Rodgers and won a superbowl with a record of 122-77 then the guy that has a losing record and failed to develop Ryan Tannehill.If the answer is A and everyone knows its A and evidence supports it being A the Jets always pick B.

 

I hate the Gase hire but this isn’t a good post. Tannehill only played in 24 games over Gase’s three years in Miami.

If you listen to it and it doesn’t dispel at least some of your fears then I don’t know what to tell you.

The guy at the very least sounded legit.
