We had a snow coating when we woke up this morning in Madison. How about next Saturday sir? We have big plans in Brooklyn 6 days later. Please no rain/snow please
Brook its far off and it WILL change between now and then but right now we are looking at a big storm and it COULD BE ICE as in ice not snow. Some models show snow but some show serious ice. Its too early to tell for sure which day I think it looks more like Sunday instead of Saturday but it might get clear ( we hope ) as it gets closer but the models have sucked all year this far out so lets see how things change as we get closer. I can tell you this also that the models show BRUTAL COLD after this storm = winter might be coming my friends = thoughts anyone ?
I figured Winter would be coming late this year CB. I don't have any offshore plans until the March/April timeframe anyway.
If the models by some act of god stay consistent and do not flip flop with each run I will send up the signal if Jay is not involved by say Wednesday ,,,,maybe he makes an appearance before that. Thoughts on a week from now anyone ?
Looks like a more active pattern starting up - the 20th, the 23rd, the 25th all with notable rain/ice/snow potential (for what it's worth this far out).
Stat Jeff you are correct my friend and possible bad news Brook as it also appears as something is possibly brewing for Friday night nowhere near as big as the one that flows but StatJeff = is correct---> now if only these models hold true Fjay and myself will be dancing in the street in 9 days
ok.....Im in....next weekend is the first potential bomb of the year..and I mean bomb....lets talk tomorrow. All the way down through NC to NJ right now....real bomb potential. SIREN HAS BEEN LIT.

Let it snow Friday slightly. Take a break on Saturday and snow again on Sunday please. Just no precipitation on Saturday if possible. Lol.
Right now local TWC app is in for 8-22 for next weekend total. 50% chance. When they buy in early it’s usually a good sign.
Not hating the euro right now either. The good news for snow haters is this is a weekend event, mlk weekend so schools were set to close Monday anyway , should be minimal inconvenience.
