That is a bad prediction. I don't even understand how you could come up with that. The Jets were (4-12) this year. They will add free agents with all their cap space and the draft. Sam will get better. Gase's coaching staff will likely do better than Bowles' because it is hard to do worse. Gase went (7-9) with the Dolphins this year. His worst season he went (6-10). This was Mac's worst year as a GM and still won 4 games. So not sure where (2-14) came from.

I have finally come to accept, if not like, the Gase hiring. I think I went through the five stages of grief that that Dr. Kubler-Ross pulled out of her ass. Initially, I liked McCarthy, but after reading today the comments by the Green Bay CEO about the complacency and lack of accountability under McCarthy, I changed my mind. The last thing this team needs is complacency and lack of accountability. I have to believe the CEO is telling the truth. He's a reputable executive, not some kind of click-bait troll like Mehta. As for the other candidates, I don't see any as a clear choice. All had negatives.Sure, everyone is looking for the next home-run pick like Sean McVay, but McVay hasn't experienced failure yet. When he does, let's see how he handles it. Remember how everyone thought Dan Quinn in Atlanta was the next superstar coach until he got his teeth kicked in in the Super Bowl, and he still hasn't recovered. It was a weak class of candidates, and given who else was in the running, maybe Gase is a defensible choice. I don't know, but we'll see soon enough.
LOL that Super Bowl win did him really great the last few years...He coached his team to a losing record with a top 5 all time QB, pretty impressive job really He was so great the classy Packers franchise dumped him in the middle of the season and not one team has chosen to hire him BUT SUPERBOWL WIN!
