This is the dumbest reason ever not to hire a SB winning coach. There is no CAUSATION. Not sure why folks keep bringing this up. It's silly.
i agree with this to the point that the NFL gets so hung up on weed and ignores the violent offenses i still cant believe people overlooke that Leonard Little and Donta Stallworth killed people while drunk driving and still played in the league SMH
One positive for McCarthy is that he actually helped Aron Rodgers become that generational talent. He actually helped Rodgers develop.
Yes, I get all that, but you keep overlooking or ignoring the documented issues he has in interacting with those he doesn't agree with. That's a huge problem having nothing to do with how smart he is, or whether he's a good coach. Mix his personality in with the media circus of NY and you're risking a blow up.
If you don't understand that it's because you don't want to understand. The "SOJ way of doing things" is all about doing what everyone else can see is the WRONG thing to do, but they do it anyway.
Your too generous. I say 24 hours for a Super Bowl win or he's out. 18 hours and 28 mins down and still no VLT!!!
Honest question. Who the fuck is John B? He sounds like some random fan on another Jets fan forum sitting at his computer banging away just like anyone here. The only thing this sums up is that this dude is a SOJer. Nothing more.
Oh so that’s what SOJs way of doing things means now? Sorry can’t keep up with the ever changing meaning of it. So let me get this straight. Hiring a first time HC DC in Rex and Bowles was not a SOJs way of doing things?
Honest answer: Who the fuck cares who John B is? Seriously. If what he wrote makes sense, what difference does it make? Are you saying that only well known people can be right?
I don't agree. I think the mandate will be 2020. This year will be about taking a big step forward and grooming Darnold to Gase's system. If they can finish with 7-9 wins, it shows a positive trend. With this draft and cap space, if there is no improvement Macc is gone, but I don't see that happening.
