There hasn't been a single Super Bowl winning QB who has ever won with a second team, so I can't say that hiring McCarthy was any more of a sure thing than Gase.
Cman take a step away from the brooklyn bridge, it isn't nearly as bad as it seems. i hated the Gase hire, but took a step back and am happy. We are actually in an incredible situation, stay positive!
This is the place to post about this stuff. I'm done with this slap dick franchise until they start winning. Also couldn't that be said for your opinions as well?
Honestly, I need to hear from Jamal. If he jumps on board and becomes a true Gase guy--then I will feel a LOT better.
pretty crazy that Gase never played college football. He was a regular undergraduate student at Michigan State when Saban was there and got a job on the staff
Anyone remember when Gase got the Peyton Manning vote of confidence? I know I'm dreaming, but if he brought in Manning to be the OC/QBC, whatever, ALL WILL BE FORGIVEN.
That is interesting, probably just smart and devoted. He also probably didn't have the attitude issues he has now.
Not done bitching no. I'll listen to all the commentators today see what they have to say make a few more comments and then that'll be it for a while for me.
Lol--Peyton Manning is trying to figure out how to own a team, not be some assistant coach somewhere.
We are not an attainable team. The Johnson's have no incentive and never indicated any interest in selling.
You don't think they would sell if the price is right? It seems like they are just in this for the money.
There is no price that would be right. They are multi-billionaires--the Jets keep them relevant in social circles. Please don't now ask me "well, if someone offered them $100 billion, they wouldn't sell?" Can't play that game.
Haha I wasn't going to ask that. If it is about relevance as you say, I suppose you're right they won't sell for a long time.
