Johnson and Mac interviewed Gase and liked what they heard. Peyton Manning called Chris Johnson and praised Gase and gave his advice for us to hire him. Darnold apparently loved him and pegged him as his guy he wants. Does all of this just get swept under the rug? Or is it possible that we all really have no idea what Gase is or how he plans to take control of this franchise?
Fuck Gase, fuck the Johnson's, Darnold is a kid and sometimes kids like strangers with candy and Peyton only had Gase as an OC not an HC: huge difference between those two positions.
Who else was he going to go with? Brock Osweiler? When Tannehill was healthy they made the playoffs and were competing for them this year. I dislike Gase as much as everybody else here, but he didn't exactly have gold to work with at QB.

Honestly, Jarvis Landry has always rubbed me the wrong way..for a possession receiver who while very good is not what id tab as a dynamic playmaker he is awfullly outspoken,high maintenance & borderline selfish. I can totally understand why a personality like Gase wouldve wanted him gone.
