And who are the QBs that this guy has supposedly developed? He doesn't get credit for Peyton Manning. Is one year of Jay Cutler his crowning achievement? Ryan Tannehill? The 2007 Lions QBs or the 2008 49ers QBs? Who exactly has he developed, because that's what we're supposed to be hanging our hat on here, that he can develop Sam Darnold.
Favoritism based on ability I can understand, based on personality I can't accept. We all criticized Bowles for keeping KC based on personal relationship vs performance. Now we are supposed to rally behind a HC who has a history of doing the same with players. Would you be OK with Adams sitting behind say, Terrence Brooks, Because Gase likes him better as a person? Sterling over Herndon because he has a similar sense of humor and Gase likes him better? This is the type of thing he did in Miami. His best player pulled himself out of the Jets game in the first Quarter because he didn't like the rotation. Gase was completely unaware he wasn't playing. Then he called out his DC for not telling players well in advance what the rotation would be. WTF. This is the future of this franchise.
