Sorry, too lazy, to look it up. I hurt my back last night moving rocks around in my son's saltwater reef tank.

The Ravens should give the Chiefs a good spanking, especially after what Cleveland did to them last weekend.

I have noticed a distinct change in the flavor of your writing since the Jets production this year has seemingly come from nowhere. Are you as giddy as I am?

Wouldn't it be beyond incredible if we actually made it to the big dance and actually won? It would erase years and years and years of humiliation and shame......:)

Wow , these next two weeks will really clear things up in the in the race for the last two playoff spots.. If we take care of our business & the Colts & Chargers take care of theres, we will go into the final two weeks only needing one win to pretty much lock up a playoff spot. And the last week against the Raiders is like a bye, I'm feeling pretty good about our chances.. GO JETS, COLTS & CHARGERS

Well sure this is the BEST coaching I have seen since BP days. That was the last time I had hope that we could get to the promised land. I really believe that coaching is very, very important in the NFL & it would appear that we have snagged a real winner in Man. I am sure there are other teams out there now scratching there heads & asking why did we not get this guy like Cleve who took Romeo & I am sure today they would much rather have had Man.

Salt water tanks while difficult to maintain are really much nicer then fresh water tanks unless IMHO

This is what I've been saying too... the Colts and Chargers are in a position to kick a lot of tail for us. And they're still motivated for wins for homefield advantage, so it's quite possible they could win all four games.

Of course, if the Patriots could only find a way to lose to both Miami and Jacksonville, we won't even need their help because we'll be on top of the AFC East (if we win out).

The Title of this thread is the story of my Jets life. Finish this thing. Build the momentum and let it carry us into the playoffs. And beyond!

I am pretty sure that one of these 4 teams is going to give us some trouble. In a way, I kind of hope we lose the one to Miami, providing we still make the playoffs. That will allow us to have had a winning streak for a while, have it broken and kind of refocus for THE "run". I would rather drop a game to the dolphins than lose in the post-season - if that makes any sense?

Champ, I am glad we have found someone to whom you are willing to show a little faith in. Here's to hoping that it all works out in our favor.

What happened was I was holding a rock and had a very close call with my son's lionfish. Even though I was only holding, maybe 5 pounds; that coupled with the reaction to the near miss; I jerked back suddenly. That's what did it. Kinda funny really, but it still hurts. Nooky is totally out of the question with Mrs. H., that is for sure. :(

Yes, SW reefing is high end, and expensive, but worth every penny.

Let's hope for a Jets win this WE. I'm going for treatmenet on my back now.

    Hornet, out.

Petersons stock wont drop unless he records poor measurables during the off season in my opinion. I think he will go to the first team looking at a rb

If we lose to anyone, I'd want it to be Minny as that is the game that hurts us the least for the rest of the year. I really want us to finish 5-1 in the division, even if we end up missing the playoffs, 5-1 with 2 sweeps and a split with the Patriots, would be the best we've seen in quite some time. Of all the games on the schedule, I want the Jets to win vs. Miami first, then Oakland, followed by Buffalo and Minny. What I really want is 4-0 sweep.

I've said for a few weeks that I didn't care what happened since we were imrpoving, were better than last year and seemed to be going in the right direction, but that will all change with a win this weekend. If you are in the playoffs, you have to go push to win it all. You get so few chances and the team is good enough now. GO JETS!!!!

That is true, Minn does not go against the conference record, which coming down to the wire and losing one more game would make a bigger difference.

nah...the one game we can "afford" to lose is the Vikes game, not the Dolphins. We need our conference record as good as it can be because of tiebreakers. Even at 10-6 we might need tiebreakers.

That's the plan, and I'm confident the jets get it done.

Get to the playoffs, once you're in ANYTHING can happen.

How about we take it one game at a time.... I don't think Mangini and Co are thinking about the playoffs, this week is the game that scares me. A loss to Buffalo could be devastating with a game against our arch rival on X Mas. Here I was 14 weeks ago thinking it'd be us looking to be a spolier in Miami, who woulda thought it'd be the other way around?
