Evans had a big problem with drops until Monken arrived and Godwin was just drafted. Monken is credited with helping Evans fix his problem with drops and helping Godwin develop.

If that's true, I want no part of McCarthy. Give me Monken.

    Yes.

I find it truly hysterical when I read posts complaining about how "all Jets fans do is complain." There are actually maybe a dozen people on this board with incredibly strong opinions against particular people, and any time those people get mentioned they complain vociferously, and any time another person gets mentioned other people complain vociferously. The overwhelming majority of people on here might have preferences, but ultimately are saying "well, we'll just have to see what happens, whoever gets hired."

Any post that contains the phrase "The Jets fanbase feels ..." is by definition complete and utter nonsense. And that doesn't even take into account that the overwhelming majority of people on any board don't actually have any idea what they're talking about when it comes to something like this.

Both, Is called, knee jerk bipolar Jets behavior. We fail if we do and will fail if we do not. The curse of Shea stadium.

That's because hardly anyone else would be desperate enough to want him.

They were both highly regarded top notch coordinators that were overdue for a head coaching opportunity

Unfortunately we got the wrong one

I'm sure players are going to flock to play for a guy that all of his old players wanted out.

Why are you making shit up? If he's a bad candidate you wouldn't have to make shit up about him

Under Monken the Bucs led the league with 320.3 passing yards per game. That's amazing with a QB like Rodgers, Brady or Brees, but with two stiffs like Jameis Winston and Ryan Fitzpatrick, it's nothing short of amazing! The Bucs had 450 or more yards in 7 of their games this past season. Coupled with the fact that he designs plays and calls plays to get his QBs some easy throws and in a rhythm early, and is credited with being a great play caller, he will turn Sam into a top 5 QB. Monken needs to be the hire.
