Evans had a big problem with drops until Monken arrived and Godwin was just drafted. Monken is credited with helping Evans fix his problem with drops and helping Godwin develop.
Yes. I find it truly hysterical when I read posts complaining about how "all Jets fans do is complain." There are actually maybe a dozen people on this board with incredibly strong opinions against particular people, and any time those people get mentioned they complain vociferously, and any time another person gets mentioned other people complain vociferously. The overwhelming majority of people on here might have preferences, but ultimately are saying "well, we'll just have to see what happens, whoever gets hired." Any post that contains the phrase "The Jets fanbase feels ..." is by definition complete and utter nonsense. And that doesn't even take into account that the overwhelming majority of people on any board don't actually have any idea what they're talking about when it comes to something like this.
Both, Is called, knee jerk bipolar Jets behavior. We fail if we do and will fail if we do not. The curse of Shea stadium.
1. Mccarthy 2.Monken 3.Gase 4.Rhule Im truthfully fine w any of them. Its better than Bowles/Quinn/Marrone. Lets get whoever it is onboard & have some synergy heading into senior Bowl week which appears loaded w top prospects
They were both highly regarded top notch coordinators that were overdue for a head coaching opportunity Unfortunately we got the wrong one
https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.c...mccarthy-only-pursuing-jets-coaching-vacancy/ "The reality is McCarthy may have not been considered by any of the teams that still have vacancies outside of the Jets" No, he's totally the best candidate available, definitely the guy we want.... the guy that no one else wants...
Incarcerated Bob is reporting that McCarthy is putting pressure on the jets owner.... So I guess we assume the opposite is What's happening? Lol Sent from my VS987 using Tapatalk
all of his old players wanted out Why are you making shit up? If he's a bad candidate you wouldn't have to make shit up about him
Under Monken the Bucs led the league with 320.3 passing yards per game. That's amazing with a QB like Rodgers, Brady or Brees, but with two stiffs like Jameis Winston and Ryan Fitzpatrick, it's nothing short of amazing! The Bucs had 450 or more yards in 7 of their games this past season. Coupled with the fact that he designs plays and calls plays to get his QBs some easy throws and in a rhythm early, and is credited with being a great play caller, he will turn Sam into a top 5 QB. Monken needs to be the hire.
