New/updated uniforms (Poll Added)

Just bought tickets yesterday
I grew up in the comic book era, hanging out at the comic shop. Now I get to share it with my kids albeit in the lazy movie non reading version but whatever.

 

I got another merchandise shill email this a.m. for Jets gear. Black hat with white old/new Jets emblem is called New York Jets New Era Classic Era Omaha. Hmmm, again. In any event it could quite possibly be going back to what's below, colors contingent. Since when have these idiots ever featured the old/new logo in recent years? How about never. Also, the first hat is called New York Jets New Era Black on Black, with this font (which I have always historically used because it was the closest I could get): JETS.

That logo sucks..... the jet plane reference is the only good part, but the homemade typeface looks like it was done with a pen and a ruler (which it was back when it was created)..... Like I said earlier, change happens.... so WHY would you go backwards AGAIN.... (because the sack exchange & Walker/Toon were fun to watch for a few years?!)

 

NO - it's going to be a new logo and new uniforms. The video on the website says this.

 

So now that they bungled the coaching hire, what are the chances they release this early to try and distract the fans?

 

The PR and optics on this hire are dreadful and they know it. I think that's why they're floating the Gregg Williams DC rumor. If that comes up short and they bring in Joseph, expect an early release of the new unis complete with a PR sales job perhaps bigger than the PSL heist of years gone by.

 

Is this the part where I'm supposed to get excited?

 

You know, the Jets haven't announced the Gase hire yet. There's still time to go back on it.
