With the way Mack has played the last half of the season I just don’t see why they would be interested.
Mack would be the second best free agent running back on the market, they really have no reason to go after Bell.
What ever Money you are putting into any RB put into the O-line first. Don't want Bell eating up a chunk of money for another Revis situation if he leads the league in rushing etc.. O-Line, Then O-line then Edge Rusher then more O-line!! In truth, if we can steal a #1 receiver in the draft that would be sick too...
Its not an either/or situation. There aren’t any lineman available that are going to prohibit us from getting bell too.
Great thought, but Mike McIdiot refuses to draft OL. Just two in four years and both in round 5. He just doesn't get it that games are won and lost at the line of scrimmage--witness his 2017 draft Four DBs, 3 receivers, ZERO offensive OR defensive lineman. Dumb dip.
Barber isn't horrendous. He isn't a feature back, but as part of a rotation, he would be fine. Horrendous RBs don't rush for 871 yards and score 6 TDs.
As a former Fournette draft supporter. I'm off his train - out of shape, poor attitude, lazy - but he's a perfect Macc FA
We can thank The newly appointed DC of Tampa Bay for ram rodding4 years of that POS. Glad to see Williams with us and Todd elsewhere. No sacks, No rushs, no presses and ton of errors.
Wow. Fournette would be a great pickup. That's the kind of running back you go after. The sleeping giant who is now pissed off. He is still only 23 years old by the way
If he gets released i take a flyer & still add Bell in addition.Say goodbye to Crowell & powell. Bell/Fournette/Mcguire/Cannon Thats pretty sweet
I didn't say that he was an upgrade. Unless they bring Bilal Powell back, that would leave them with only Crowell, McGuire, Cannon and that UDFA signed off of Denver's PS (Henderson). We can't go into next season with those as our RBs. I'd rather have Mark Ingram. Barber is a distant 2nd choice or maybe 3rd choice after Tevin Coleman. If we can't get Ingram, I'd rather just draft Bennie Snell, Evander Holyfield's kid, or some other RB who can be the starter.
