Thanks. That makes some sense. The Jets have a VP of Comms who was appointed a couple of years back. His name was posted a few pages back. He's supposed to be a brand strategist so I'd imagine that he was brought in for just this reason. He's responsible for all the media output too and the way that is being used to tease the changes would indicate he knows what he's doing and doing it properly - or the way I'd do it at least. Given that, I would hope that the Jets have done this properly and designed the unis as part of a complete rebrand rather than change the branding to match a uni concept Nike have come up with.
I don't... I Never really cared for the color green in the 1st place... I just liked the team not the uniform... I'm Hoping I can like Both now.

One is a sweatshirt with the current logo/dark green, the other is a t-shirt with new/old jets logo, kelly green with grey sleeves and kelly green stripes on the arms. Hmmm . . . ? I would screen shoot and post the email, but I'm perpetually stupid and I'll die that way.

Oregon is garbage an a laughingstock uniform wise. Using Oregon as an inspiration for our new uniforms is akin to using OJ Simpson as your inspiration for being a good husband. Get that shit outta here So many teams have done the black alternate crap. Figures we would jump on that bandwagon. At least it's an alternate and only for 1 game (color rush I guess)
That's actually pretty nice. I would make the logo a bit smaller though because it is too close to the facemask and chin straps. Otherwise this would be totally acceptable

Helmet looked great with the grey facemask in the anniversary game. If anything, grey accents would work better than black, without a need for much change. The longer this drags out, the more I feel the Jets and Nike will get this wrong. Not like either has a good track record with uniform change.

The colors on this are great, the design is bad. Logo looks weird, unbalanced, and unclean.Font numbers are too cartoonish. Pants, stripes, and shoulder cuts are all acceptable.
