Nice video glad we got him. He's gonna be special, now lets get the right players and coaches around him.#JetUp✓✓✓
Nice. I wish they would have included highlights - more like lowlights - from the Cheats game. I still haven't seen it, half because I haven't had the time and half because I'm not that motivated to watch a blowout. I did hear that Shoe Booty still managed to have a decent game despite the clown show around him on both sides of the ball.
Break downs of highlights are great, but I'd love to see some of his mistakes and what he's seeing. We all know what he's capable of, but what does he still need to learn is much more interesting.
The Todd Bowles Has Been Fired thread has been closed so I thought I'd put this here. Ever the diplomat, that's why I think it's relevant. I can't express enough how much I think his maturity and diplomacy are extremely important and just another reason why I'm so happy with him. Showing sympathy for a man who just lost his job, no finger-pointing, and no running his mouth - as usual. "We need to fix some details here." Understatement of the century, Sam.
Sometimes.you just have to ignore the production values. At least it didn't have annoying music in it like something by Philly Stax.
Thanks! I'll check it out later! The green pants . . . slowly I turned, step by step, inch by inch . . . !
What was nice to see was the chemistry with Robby increasing to an all time high after the injury, for whatever reason Bates seemed determined to keep Robby out of games and let's face it Herndon as well was massively underused, considering how depleted at WR we had been for long spells of the season. I also thought Robby stepped up is route running and separation became easier for him.
You're absolutely right. So many players were under utilized, but on the bright side it just made me giddy to see Robby running the entire route tree and put to bed the ridiculous notion of him only being a 1-trick-pony speedster. I mean as fans we've seen him make many diverse catches before, but the question is how often was he asked to do anything but run a 9 route?
Blown away ..how great. Good Coaches should be salivating..just build around Sam..forget the D please Now tell me how desperate do Chris J and Macnitwit have to be interviewing scrubs? No way... We are getting a Harbaugh or McCarthy..bookit Thanks for the positive post Human
@Kris 15: Just finished watching it, thanks for sparing me the extended eye-bleed version. All in all, not too shabby considering Shoe Booty was SWARMED ON ALMOST EVERY PLAY. Some high passes, nice scoochy run play action fake for a 1st down, some nice throws peppered in. Still impressed overall. Let's just say his throwing motion, some of those jump throws, and his mechanics are not upsetting me. At all. Still appeared to me that he made quick decisions and never lost his composure. As Martha the jailbird would say, "It's a good thing." So, I'm glad I had some positive things to take from it. GO SAM. BTW, @Petrozza, I hate this fckn picture. So much ewwww, so much ewwww. I hope Sam scrubbed his hands with Brillo and gasoline after that.
The pic has been removed from the Front Page, haha. I know it's just coincidence, though (updated about coaching search), but I'm grateful I don't have to see it front and center anymore! It's still in the 'stories' section, but at least it's no longer the featured photo. It's small enough now to ignore.
