Well this is great news ...if you believe everything that comes out of the U.K..ahahahah And in other U.K. News...Last night on NOVA (PBS) I learned that GB is unindated with a quarter million Red Foxes. Now they raiding garbage cans and visit peoples gardens for handouts!!!! Sheesh
When McCarthy gets here Chris said he's ordering in MacDonalds and some Big Macs to get the mood just right McCarthy insisting they make a special McRib outa the freezer for him or no deal
I doubt that Kingsbury is going to come here just as an OC, considering he just took the OC job at USC. If it's the HC position this is a different story but he's likely going to be one of the top choices for HC if Helton is fired. That being said, if we can get him as HC with Williams DC sign me up
I think we need a jolt of energy in the building honestly. I remember Rex and the excitement he brought day 1. I want our next coach to be here for a long time that’s why I’m targeting Gase and Kingsbury.
Do you remember how the sex saga ended? That's why Gase is off my list entirely Sent from my VS987 using Tapatalk
Gase and Kingsbury have a losing track record, granted that seems to get the Jets to keep people for 4-5 years, but why would you want these guys over McCarthy? I get that McCarthy does have negatives, but to make his negatives outweigh his positives is similar to seeing the trees and missing the forest.
First off no way to Gase. Having said that, my concern with McCarthy is his offense is outdated, and he's going to impede Sam's development. Not saying Kingsbury is the answer, but it makes sense to interview him and see how different his offense is from McCarthy's.
That's very interesting regarding the "rescheduling" Sometimes it is a legitimate rescheduling, but many times what it really is a cancellation and a covert way of saying "No thanks" Not sure what exactly is going on here, but I think McCarthy prefers the Jets and is the odds on favorite to be our coach.
I understand, but I don't think we should interview Kingsbury. If whoever we pick as head coach wants to interview him or bring him on as OC that's cool, but I think everyone sees him as another Sean McVay, when he is not. Kingsbury is the poor man's McVay. He is the Gary Busey to McVay's Nick Nolte.
Sorry, I didn't clarify. I don't necessarily want to hire Kingsbury, but I do want to interview him, preferably before McCarthy. Then if McCarthy's playbook looks underwhelming compared to Kingsbury's, I'd ask McCarthy point blank why that is.
