I haven't heard any "Leftist" of consequence say shit about the 5 black head coaches who were fired. Who is a "leftist" of consequence? On the other hand Steve Bannon and Stephen Miller are both part of the alt right fringe. Bannon was brought into the White House at the cabinet level. Miller is a Senior advisor to the President and one of his chief speech writers. They are far from a powerless fringe that has zero impact on society. They are making policy in the White House.

I don't want to get into politics here but I can't let the idea that the alt-right is some kind of powerless fringe group. Until Trump they were. This administration invited two key members into the White House. Miller is shaping policy right now. The only reason we have a government shut down is Ann Coulter, and Rush Limbaugh got under the Presidents skin. Ann Coulter is certainly a proponent of the Alt right fringe.

Leftist concepts? So promoting racial diversity is REAL racism, yet stuff like building a wall to keep out Mexicans and continuing the war in the middle east, and suppressing minority voters has nothing to do with racism at all, huh?

Alt left (SJW) is a fringe group just like alt right. They don't speak for the majority of the left. A bit silly to bring that up about the alt right, when everything you are saying only applies to a fringe group as well.

I disagree with the Rooney rule, I feel it was important in the past, and it's now time to move on, but your post was ridiculous.

We'll have to agree to disagree on this. I think your first statement is utter nonsense. The only people it causes resentment in are those who are racist/bigoted, like things the way they are and don't want to see them change. People can be incredibly blind and ignorant, especially when they're speaking from a position of power and privilege and have no clue what it's like to live as someone who is discriminated against because of race, sex, sexual orientation, religion or national origin, or whatever divides people into haves and have nots.

Yes, education and tolerance are part of the answer, but many people are not tolerant. Education can take a long time, and people can resist or choose not to accept that education. I guarantee you that if you were part of a minority group that was being discriminated against and held back, you wouldn't have the opinion you do. You wouldn't be willing to wait 10-20 years (or longer) for education to work.

  11. But you arent fixing the issue.Youre just throwing a bone to a minority group & hoping all the problems disappear.

Call the resented parties biggots or racists..thats exactly what im talking about. It doesnt matter what you label them it still causes wide spread division bc its artoficial stimulation & favortism.Favortism & hand outs are not the answer.

Then over time the social class beneficiary of all these hand outs become the oppressing body & the bystanders the “have nots”.All youve done is flipped the narrative & changed the roles..thats not equality

Ask Chinese students who are held to a higher performance standard at Harvard than other minorities when promoting racial diversity doesn’t result in further racism. The concept of racial diversity is fine but all leftist policy created to create it has resisted in racism. This is empirically factual.

So why do coaches from winning programs fail at the next level?

We need to idiot-proof this site. Shit is getting old. There's some actual decent discussion to be had here and this tool and the Jetblue guy come in here spewing stupidity. No place for that on a Jets board. Go comment on CNN Facebook posts.

Of course it's not the answer, it's just a tool.

My jeep has a tool called a winch. I use the winch to get me back on the path when I'm off the trail and stuck--I don't use it as way to travel from my house to work and back every day.

Strong argument. You’re likely exactly who I am referring to — leftists that simply cry racism and call everyone a nazi to silence opponents or shut down discussion because you actually have no real argument. Just resort to extreme hysterics.
