I am getting hooked to Guinness lately. It is now my most popular beer. I also like drinking Weihenstephaner occasionally. Sam Adams Summer Ale in the summer and lastly Heineken. Spill....
Funny you mention Guinness. I don't like stout at all, so "real" Guinness is definitely not for me. I am definitely a lager or pilsner man. I just had a Guinness Blonde for the first time at my poker game last Friday, however, and I thought it was excellent. I like Corona, Stella, and various versions of Sam Adams. I definitely enjoyed Pilsner Urquell when I was in the Czech Republic. I won't drink a Bud (light or otherwise), or serve it at my game (much to the displeasure of one our players), but otherwise I'm hardly a beer snob.
Pilsner Urquell was all I drank while in Prag 2 summers ago. I still buy it time to time. Good choice jeff.
Right now in the beer fridge I have Mississippi Mud, Beach Blonde Ale, Boddingtons, Sweet Baby Java, Two Hearted Ale, Longboard, Big Wave, Yeungling, Jim Beam Budweiser Copper Lager, 420 Strain G13 and the wife's Busch Light Magic Hat #9 used to be a favorite along with a few of the Sierra Nevadas but I think Magic hat changed their recipe a little while back. It was out of stores for a while and didn't taste the same when it came back so trying a few new ones.
Fuller's London Porter. Wiper and True Milk Stout. Guinness West Indies Porter is a top drop, too. I also like dark lagers, but they are hard to come by outside of Czech Republic and Germany.
The other great thing about these is they look like energy drinks so you can get away with drinking them in public. Brilliant.
