QB Peyton Manning RB Tiki Barber RB Lawrence Maroney WR Marvin Harrison WR Torry Holt TE Alge Crumpler K David Akers DST Carolina The Back ups don't even matter. This is the single greatest starting line up ever. Which makes my weeks hell since ever player (maybe no LM) is a WEEKLY-MUST-START caliber player. And some how I'm losing in my league. I think I'm 5-6 or something. **This wasn't all done in the draft. Took a lot of talking and great trades.
I'm actually not all that impressed. Your Running Backs are extremely weak and Harrison, while still a top tier fantasy WR is not lighting the league on fire like he used to. Try this offense on for size: Carson Palmer, Marc Bulger, Julius Jones, Ronnie Brown, Leon Washington, Chad Johnson, Jaon Walker, Steve Smith, Reggie Brown.
How about this draft on August 31? (NOTE: this is a 10-team league.) 1. (4) Larry Johnson 2. (17) Anquan Boldin 3. (24) Willie Parker 4. (37) Donovan McNabb 5. (44) T.J. Houshmandzadeh 6. (57) Mike Bell 7. (64) Chester Taylor 8. (77) Rod Smith 9. (84) Frank Gore 10. (97) Kellen Winslow 11. (104) Philip Rivers 12. (117) Kevin Curtis 13. (124) Ahman Green 14. (137) Lawrence Tynes current roster: Philip Rivers Anquan Boldin Antonio Bryant Larry Johnson Willie Parker Kellen Winslow T.J. Houshmandzadeh Frank Gore Chester Taylor Ahman Green Ladell Betts Jake Delhomme John Carney Kansas City
I think my team is pretty damn ridiculous for a 12-team league (at least RB/WR/TE anyway) QB: Carr, Jason Campbell RB: Steven Jackson, Brian Westbrook, Chester Taylor WR: TO, Andre Johnson, Roy Williams, Reche Caldwell TE: Tony Gonzalez K: Jay Feely, Ryan Longwell Def: Dallas not: the only move I made was dropping Brunnell for Campbell this week. In the draft I opted to keep grabbing RBs and WRs instead of a QB because somehow there was always a steal available at my pick, so I opted for value over need, and it has certainly paid off.
Carson Palmer, Cin QB Tiki Barber, NYG RB Steve Smith, Car WR Roy Williams, Det WR Javon Walker, Den WR Jason Witten, Dal TE or Ben Watson, NE TE Patriots D/ST Nate Kaeding, SD K This ESPN league team of mine is better, crazy thing was that I started 0-5 and have since won 6 straight
QB: Kitna WR: Roy Williams WR: Steve Smith WR: Donte Stallworth (Issac Bruce) RB: Larry Johnson RB: Willy Parker TE: Kellen Winslow Flex: Kevin Jones (Maroney) Weak at QB, but the rest brings it up methinks
Not impressed. Their all Weekly-MUST-starts. Palmer and Bulger are two great FF QB. Jones is a poor mans tiki. Marion gets all the TDs, Jones gets yards. Ronnie just sucks, hasn't been worth anything in FF. Barely an "average" back. Leon, yeah okay. Chad and Steve, great. Walker is soo inconsistent its a lucky guess. And who are you going to bench to put him in?
Jones and Brown each average 11-12 pts a game and are indeed, fringe starters, but starters nonetheless. Javon walker is the #2 receiver in my league. Second to Chad Johnson. And in my particular 16 team league I could bench one of my running backs for him as he is averaging more points than them.
Hows it been for you deciding which TE to start I have the same guys and week to week have no clue who to start, its such a toss up.
Here is my lineup. I like it better: QB: Palmer RB: LT / Betts WR: Ocho Cinco / Driver TE: Gates WR/RB: Fitzgerald K: Scobee DEF: 1 week play every week
I helped my brother pick his team in a 10 man league. QB: Matt Hasselbeck, Philip Rivers, Michael Vick, Marc Bulger WR: Steve Smith, Chad Johnson, Roy Williams, Randy Moss RB: Clinton Portis, Rudi Johnson, Warrick Dunn TE: Tony Gonzalez, Marques Colston K: Shayne Graham DEF: Denver
While we're all showing off: (Standard 10 man league) QB: Carson Palmer, Rex Grossman WR: Laveranues Coles, Plaxico Burress, Lee Evans, Terry Glenn RB: Frank Gore, Rudi Johnson, Julius Jones, Ahman Green TE: Heath Miller K: John Carney DEF: San Diego, Philadelphia
None of you will beat this team: (8 Team League) QB: Rex Grossman QB: Philip Rivers WR: TJ Houshmanzadeh WR: Donald Driver WR: Reggie Wayne WR: Mushin Muhammad WR: Laveraneus Coles RB: Larry Johnson RB: Rudi Johnson TE: Kellen Winslow TE: Todd Head W/T: Jerricho Cotchery W/R: Frank Gore BENCH: Chad Pennington, Wes Welker, Shaun Alexander, Ladell Betts
10-man league This week's lineup: QB: Drew Brees RB: Rudi Johnson, Joseph Addai WR: Andre Johnson, Steve Smith TE: Chris Cooley K: Jeff Wilkins DEF: Baltimore Bench: Tom Brady, Brett Favre, Julius Jones, Lee Evans, Alge Crumpler, NYJ defense The team isn't that amazing but I'm 9-2 so that aint bad, though I didn't start Addai or Evans for their big games in previous weeks and this week is looking mediocre.
12 Man team, Best team ever QB- Peyton Manning, Jason Campbell RB- Shaun Alexander, Fast Willie Parker, Chestor Taylor, DeAngello WIlliams WR- TJ Housh, Andre Johnson, Marques Colston, Plaxico burress, Hines Ward TE- Gates K- Kaeding Def- Rotate Yes, 12 team league, I'm 12-1
#1 Seed **NOTE** 16 man League QB-Tony Romo WR-Terrell Owens WR-Andre Johnson WR-Jerricho Cotchery RB-Reggie Bush RB-DeAngelo Williams TE-Alge Crumpler K-Jeff WIlkins D-Baltimore $2000 bucks to the winner...hopefully I have some good luck in round 1 tommorrow. Reggie Bush needs to build on that AMAZING week he had last week!!
My team last year was still tops (12 teams) Favre Tiki Edge Holt Driver Jimmy Smith / Coles Heap Rackers Panthers D unfortunately this year isn't going as well hmy:
