Elway is his boy... And he has a pretty cushy job.... It would take alot to get him to leave Sent from my VS987 using Tapatalk
Todd Monken intrigues me.Hes supposedly a great innovator & outside of Jameis played a part in putting together an impressive skill group. The fact that hes coming from a lousy organization actually appeals to me bc hes not just a body from a flavor of the week team.He had to work harder & likely do more to stand out.Now what kind of leader he is i havent a clue
Jeez Jim Caldwell. I'd rather have Mike McCarthy than him. Caldwell is horrible. Be careful what you wish for right? I've been wanting the Jets to hire a experienced head coach for the first time since Woody bought the team and boy are we gonna get one Jim frickin' Caldwell OR I'm getting the feeling they're gonna pull Marvin Lewis out of their behinds. I've yet to see any news linking Jim Harbaugh to the Jets since the season ended.
He was with the Bills in 2015 and 2016. And his only game as interim head coach (taking over for Rex because Buffalo didn't want him to win an 8th game and collect a bonus) was a 30-10 loss to us. most times it doesn't work out like that.
I don't get why anyone would want Jim Caldwell. Doesn't even make sense. He couldn't win with Peyton Manning or Matthew Stafford. Why give him Darnold?
McCarthy is garbage dude. He had the privilege of coaching TWO HOF Quarterbacks in a college town with a friendly media and only has 1 SB to show for it. He's literally had the best player in football the last 6 years. You want to bring this dude into NY? He will get absolutely destroyed with his awful play-calling. and halftime adjustments.
We are still not in Rooney Rule compliance. Bieniemy has not yet been permitted by the Chiefs to interview. We need at least one of them them to agree
I bet he takes a year off but he was close. Lost in 3 NFC title games. Win two of those and it's a different story.
The only reason I would avoid Eric Beiniemy is because he's a RB coach at heart. I want someone who knows how to develop the QB position. Give me Todd Monken who runs a high powered aggressive offense, has coached QBs before, and may potentially be a force in trading for Mike Evans.
