I know all of you are looking for an offensive background type coach. But the guy I think makes a lot of sense, if available is Greg Williams if the Browns don't hire him.
You are growing up as poster. Maturing in front of our eyes. My eyes are watery. Ok ok, I will enjoy my vacation. Lol.
There are way more candidates than openings, rushing the hire is the worst thing the Jets can do. Thankfully Bowles is gone. Now get the hire right. Keeping Mac allows the focus to be on the HC. I don't have a problem with the structure. It's far more common than most think. There's alot that goes into the hire. Most important is the staff that HC will assemble. The Jets must be diligent and get it right. Not rush into a hire like they did with Bowles.
We'll see. Not even 24 hours in and already declined by a college coach for an interview. My optimism isn't the highest with this organization. The Johnsons are dopes and this makes the FO look weak and broken.
Not necessarily. If the HC is successful, chances are either Mac had a successful off season and will be staying or a new GM would be happy with the HC. It also opens up the possibility that the new HC can get more control over personal .
Why are they messing around with scrubs like Eric Bieniemy and Kris Richard Don't tease us with Harbore and then try to serve up this shit sandwich. DON'T EVEN TRY. Learn from your mistakes. Miami's dumbo eared owner just fired Gase. Make sure he doesn't steal Jim Harbaugh.
Declined by a College coach who has declined multiple teams , who just received $95 million to build a new football training facility who has made it very clear in recent weeks that he has no desire to coach in the NFL
It’s unusual to have the VP of player personnel involved in these searches. It’s clear there is not an effective blueprint from Chris in what type of HC is needed. Other than looking for someone who doesn’t want complete control, which I don’t have a problem with, it’s looking like the Jets will probably screw this up. I wonder if they are looking for an offensive minded type of HC, since developing Sam should be the priority. It’s been fun hearing all these reports though, keeping the off-season alive for jet fans.
Screw Adam Sandler. If he wants to go coach minor league football in Tumbleweed Iowa, then let him. The city would've eaten his goofy ass alive
If it came down to Rex and Caldwell, You would take Rex over a HC who actually took his team to the SB?
Caldwell maybe. Though he took the Lions to the playoffs. But no way in hell is Dungy a fraud. Let's just leave our exchange at that before it goes any further.
How about Marvin Lewis? I know he never won a play off game but he was decent as a regular season coach. Not endorsing him in any way. Just wanted to hear opinions on him.
He's slipped in the last couple years. And he's one of those old school coaches where the game's passing him by.
Cinci was not the easiest place. He did ok there but numerous times he had the opportunity to take that team to the next level. He failed every single time. He's got a ceiling as a head coach. Harbaugh-Harbaugh-McCarthy-Arians. One of these four must be coaching the Jets in 2019. There is no excuse not to have one of them when you have Darnold, the cap room, and a top pick in the draft.
If Gase had any level of success it might make sense to overlook any locker room issues... But his team sucked and I don't think anyone would consider what he did at the QB position a positive. I'm out. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
It's going to be one of the Harbaughs to Miami and we'll be looking and this dolt for the next 3 years. Guaranteed disaster. 64 years old too
