How can this be when a handful of guys here claim the Jets job is terrible and no decent coach would ever want it?

Not crazy about Eric B in the search.

Inexperienced, and that offense is all about Andy Reid.
This would be like the Browns hiring Pettine a few years ago.

Isn't Richard the DB coach and NOT the DC? Big difference if that's the case.

    @Cman60 @Brook!

Mods--can we merge the two threads?

A tad confusing, would make sense to have all the rumors/discussion in one central thread.

Yeah sorry lol, Marinelli is the DC, but he’s highly regarded from the Cowboy fans hoping he doesn’t leave.

By 4:30 Sunday afternoon John Harbaugh may be taking interviews. The problem is that Baltimore will be looking for draft picks or warm bodies in exchange. What's his value?

"As the defensive coordinator for the 2015 Seattle Seahawks Richards defense ranked first in points allowed for the season."

Oh man, sign me up. 277 points is nothing to sneeze at. But, no defense please.

FWIW, Cowboy fans are throwing a fit hoping he won’t leave, seems like he’d be a total 180 from Bowles quiet demeanor.

Edit, Richard has been calling the defense this hear, not Marinelli...

Buster Skrine, Jermaine Kearse and if we absolutely have to, Tarrell Basham.

Bowles was highly respected and no one wanted him gone from Arizona.

    How'd that work out?

We have to hire an offensive coach or one of the Harbaughs who will bring in an offensive wizard.

    Are you just speculating that?
I think Balt would be foolish to let him go, but if they decided to let him go, the draft compensation would not be high (as there is no turning back once you put a coach out there).

I'm holding out some hope, but it's a long shot with they way they finished off this season.
