Saturday Colts @ Texans 4:35 Seahawks @ Cowboys 8:15 Sunday Chargers @ Ravens 1:05 Eagles @ Bears 4:40 I like Luck but the Colts are a bit too sloppy; on the other hand, the Texans have looked quite unimpressive every time I've seen them. I'll flip a coin later this week. Gimme the Seahawks just so I don't have to see the Cowboys again this fucking season. Chargers/Ravens I'm dying to see. I'll take San Diego Los Angeles mostly because I don't trust the Ravens offense nearly as much as their defense. I think the Bears will swallow the Eagles whole.
I really like the Chargers, but they played terrible against the Ravens not too long ago. We can hope they will adjust, but I'm not so sure. I'll take the homes teams plus Seahawks this weekend.
Everyone is going to be all over Indy this weekend which leads me to believe Houston will win. I hope I'm wrong. I think Houston is absolutely terrible. I'm going with Colts, Cowboys, Chargers, Bears (even though I want Philly).
Fuck it. Colts (coin landed on tails) Seahawks Chargers Bears Looking ahead... Divisional rd: Chiefs over Colts Chargers over team dogshit Bears over Rams (not buying Goff -- or Trubisky for that matter, but gimme the Bears D) Saints over Seahawks CCG (best matchups in ages) Chiefs over Chargers Saints over Bears SB Mahomes vs Brees!?!? Who the fuck cares who wins, we all win.
I think the winner of the Chargers vs Ravens game wins the whole conference. Going to put some serious cheddar on one of these teams to go the distance but not sure which one yet. They are both very strong and solid teams that can play off the underdog role all the way. Gun to my head I pick the Ravens though, because Harbaugh and the Ravens own the Pats even in NE.
If defense wins championships still. I cant get my head around Lamar Jackson winning when he goes on the road.
I believe the Patriots are 10-3 against the Ravens, I don’t know what your definition of owning is but based on that record the Patriots have owned the Ravens. The Patriots are top 5 in rushing and passing again this year with a defense that eats up rookies. If Bills face the Ravens, Bill will force Lamar Jackson to become a pocket passer which we know he can’t do at this point. Chargers are the only team that can give patriots a run for the money since they have the most balanced team and a QB who can make plays from the pocket. JMO
Your 10-3 statistic is deceptive. If you filter by Harbaugh your statistic becomes 6-3. If you further filter by Harbaugh + playoffs then you get 2-2. Game log: http://www.espn.com/nfl/game?gameId=300110017 Ravens 33-14 http://www.espn.com/nfl/game?gameId=320122017 Patriots 23-20 http://www.espn.com/nfl/game?gameId=330120017 Ravens 28-13 http://www.espn.com/nfl/game?gameId=400749515 Patriots 35-31 All of these games were in New England, including 2 AFC Championship games and they split those as well. Patriots barely won 2 games and got destroyed in the other 2.
I’m still going with Patriots or Chargers because of the QB position. I have no problems with Ravens making SB or beating the Pats. Just looking at who has proven time and time and again that they are the team to beat.
Yeah, I'll never forget that. Ravens should have won that 2nd year, but Cundiff missed a chip shot FG to tie near the end of the 4th. Thanks to that, the Patriots went to the superbowl and got beat by the Giants. If the Ravens won that game, the Giants aren't SB champs that year.
Is anybody doing any parlay bets for these games? I'm leaning to the following but haven't locked it down yet: Texans spread -1 Cowboys spread -2 Chargers moneyline +123 Eagles moneyline +200 I feel that the bears/eagles game can go either way, that's the toughest one to pick. The +6 spread is the much safer bet, but switching that changes it from $10 to win $240 to $10 to win $150.
We need the Colts & Chargers to win this weekend. I can't envision Houston or a rookie QB winning in New England next week. We need the Chargers to make that trip to Gillete!! Followed by a trip to Arrowhead if they survive the Chargers. That's the ideal gauntlet for New England if you're a Pats hater.
