The Browns would be foolish at this point to not stick with Williams.

    Good, I don't want McCarthy.

Now we just need Caldwell to get a job somewhere else.

Be nice if this is true. If the jets can somehow get Williams snd kitchens here to be dc and oc and hire taub as hc that’d be great for us. If Gase is let go and he’s our oc that’d work too

Hope he goes to the Browns and we have a shot at Pete Carmichael as HC, either Dan Campbell or Joe Lombardi as OC, and just maybe Gregg Williams as DC.

I don't know if this is true at all.

Last I read , he's most connected to the Bucs

I’m skeptical. He made a name off Peyton Manning‘s career resurgence. At the same time, he’s had shit to work with at quarterback as a head coach so I’m intrigued.

So many openings. Hopefully Jets have been doing research since August.

If you think any of these jobs is "locked up" you're getting ahead of yourself. There's already talk of Marvin Lewis going to Cleveland and his announcement came only an hour ago.

Done. He'd be divine for Darnold but why did the Dolphins dive in December?

I have my concerns. If I recall, a lot of players didn’t get along with him and one of the reasons he was fired was because of the locker room climate. I think he’s a career OC but I’m intrigued.

I fully expect Williams and Kitchens to be made permanent in Cleveland.

Because they were shit all year and only had a decent record after scraping past the Jets twice, when any competent team would have buried them.

I actually believe for the first time in memory, that the Jet job is the best job available for anyone to come here. 100 million...a young franchise possible qb. A top pick in the draft...coming off 3 straight horrible seasons. Next season reminds of Parcells first year...where the turnaround could be dramatic...and any HC would look like a genius.

After the last 3 years, the guy coming in CANT look bad but only great.

And as far as the Johnsons go, MONEY should not be an object. I don't get how you can pay millions and millions for average/above average players but when it comes to coaches...there is a hidden cap. Its bullshit. You get a guy..the guy..you overpay. Doesn't count towards the cap. Just pay the damn money.

With that in mind I want a prick that will turn things around and fast....Harbaugh.

Which is precisely why I asked about the Dolphins decline. Steve Ross is a hands on guy who sees what's happening day to day; Gase didn't get fired based solely on his record.

The question remains: why? Ross believes Gase was part of it. Is there reason to believe that would continue wherever he goes?
