    FINALLY

Not going to praise Christopher Johnson for doing what he should have done several weeks/months ago, though. No excuse for having waited until now. His incompetence in this whole process has been even worse than Bowles'.

That separates him from every other head coach by what, a half hour? I'm sorry, there is absolutely zero evidence that he's a hard worker other than thats what people say.

We all see people who work hard every day. They often tend to be well prepared, effective and successful. What's missing from this picture when you're talking about Todd Bowles?

I think he was a hard worker, but wanted to do things his way and his way only and it backfired big time. The keeping of Kacy Rodgers and firing John Morton.

Didn't know how to take a timeout, didn't know how to play the clock with timeouts, didnt understand that you have to go for TDs when its a multi possession game with a few minutes left.

It amazes me someone can be in football their entire life and not understand this stuff.

He wasn't an incredibly hard worker. If he was, he would have learned how to handle timeouts, he didn't work hard at all toward figuring that part of the game out.

I wish Todd Bowles the best and that he gets another NFL head coaching job, hopefully as the Pats' next head coach after Belichick leaves.

If not with the Pats, then with the Dolphins or the Bills.

We all know how that would turn out, though. On his way out, Belichick would teach Todd how to use a timeout and not punt when down multiple scores on his way out the door and Todd would go on to continue the Pats' dynasty another 20 years.

Some people work longer hours because they're not as good as others and need more time to do it. Working more hours means nothing if the results aren't there.

Been seeing a similar story from many of the reporters around. While Bowles had some obvious shortcomings as a HC, the way he handled everything with professionalism (knowing that he was likely gone at the end of the season) and rarely if ever throwing players under the bus was fantastic to have after Rex. A shame it didn't work out but it was necessary.

I wish him the best wherever he goes except when his future team plays us.

Haven't been this happy since the Jets hired Rex Ryan. Never liked the Bowles hiring from Day 1 and he certainly did nothing to bring me around. Its a miracle he lasted this long. Hope the Jets move away from these defensive high round picks and address the offense and score some points. The Rams and Chiefs played a game where both offenses scored almost every series. It was one of the most exciting games I've seen. That is what the NFL is about putting up points. Nobody wins a game 6-0 anymore.
