yep - everything went against us and we ended the season fumbling the ball on a meaningless run at the end - no year I can remember has been more Jetsy than this year - it had it all including a great first game to get your hopes up before trampling them in the dirt.
The Jets did THEIR job. They didn't get the help. For all those Jets fans out there who want to watch the Jets win no matter the situation, how does that meaningless Buffalo win feel now? It's not always about the momentary thrill of a rare, meaningless win, it's about what's best for the future. Picking #1 in the 2019 draft is better for the Jets future than picking #3. That meaningless Buffalo win sucks!
Third pick is just fine. Did anyone actually think Dallas would lie down and lose to the giants ? Give me a break
Na I don't agree. We have a QB so instead of having the #1 DE we'll end up with the #2 DE.. Is that really a big deal?
If the Jets were 100% locked into a playoff seed and kept Darnold in for all 4 quarters behind backup offensive linemen I’d be furious
That plus we aren't looking for a franchise QB in the draft and there isn't one anyway. I'd rather have had the win this week than against Buffalo but obviously the team and coaches no-showed the final week of the season.
Not even close to being worth it. What you should want to see is what the Jets did LAST week. Darnold played lights out and still got the loss. WIN, WIN.
even if we had our choice of any pass rusher we would get the wrong one so I wouldn't stress about it
If the Cards and 49ers both lose we get the 3rd pick. If one of them loses we get the 2nd pick. If they both win we get the 1st pick.
I remember posting after the game let's just end the season now because its never going to get better than this - how right I was
The Jets lost nine of their last 10 games. Complaining about the one win strikes me as more than a little ridiculous. Very few teams lose ten games in a row.
