What positives about Bowles do you know that have escaped everyone else here, some of whom have been watching the NFL and this team for forty or fifty years or more as well as those who've been around for only a few? Personally I think Sam's progression is mostly all Sam. The reason I think that is because it was blatantly obvious that on more than one occasion over the last three games that he he said F this play, I'm doing XYZ instead when he quickly saw something better. That's a very good sign. A couple of things he did last week when he saw the pocket collapsing had me beyond sold, including doing hard counts. 21? Really? Sanchez would be more than dead in the water by now and probably ruined long before he was ruined. The only way to go is up - that's if the FO doesn't royally screw it up. Sam doesn't make me paranoid. The Jets on the other hand . . . Back to Maccagnan for a second, the only thing IMO that will keep him hanging on by a thread is that he landed Sam.
