No Kidding. All of this hype just shows what the Johnson's think is important: Selling us stuff.

..and yet the CEO just said “Todd Bowles is our Head coach”.

Is there a larger disparity in pro sports between a fan base desperation to win vs Complacent ownership than the jets?

 

I got a bad feeling about these new uniforms when will they reveal the new uniforms, hope we don't have to wait till pre season game.

 

I have what I consider reliable information that:

1. The new shade of green will be brighter than the current dark green, not quite as bright as the old Kelly green but almost. In between the two.
2. Regarding the unis, there will be a white set, a green set, and, yes, a black set.

No info yet regarding the new logo, or the helmet color. I might know more in February. They'll likely reveal it all publicly in April right before the draft. So April will be fun-- Game of Thrones season 8, Avengers ndgame.... and new Jets unis, haha.

 

Caporoso said to expect the reveal in early April.

I will HATE black unis! And I hope they lose the green pants too.

 

I hate the green pants too, but I'm sure they will have white, green and black for jerseys and pants so they can mix and match to their heart's content and it will be "fire"

 

I wouldn’t be surprised at all if there was a black alternate. The switch of the QB practice jerseys to black seemed like a pretty clear litmus test (and I think they look cool).

 

It seems like a great compromise.Green themed & white themed for the traditionalists & a black alternate for the bold progressive crowd.

I agree about the practice jersey..its sharp

 

If the Johnsons don't whip their johnsons into shape, there won't be any Jets fans left to buy the jerseys.

 

Noticed a ton of black merchandise at the stadium Sunday.

 

Also brain dead change. Don’t want my QB wearing black in the late summer sun at training camp.

 

Can you give us any more information regarding your source. Is this someone who works in the organization that you know? Basically is there any information that makes your word more believable?

 

So by "fire" you mean they plan on having a pot leaf as their new logo?

 

Can’t wait for the all black with kelly green jerseys.

Black works in so many ways for us. Hopefully we have a black or green helmet going forward. I hate white helmets because they don’t look great with single colored uniforms.

 

As long as there's no asbestos in the uniforms, then that's a step in the right direction. Too soon?
