Some of us back then wanted Bowles fired and were adamant about it, but we were shouted down and were told it was was too early to give up on him, that no other HC would want the job, and besides there were no good candidates.

Why not a Grizzly or Polar Bear? When players committed stupid penalties, their punishment would be being fed to the coach.

Sure, he helped take Elway over the top and got him two rings. Doesn't change the fact that John was going to be a HOF'er with or without Shanahan. I made a lot of money off Elway when the Broncos beat the Falcons. He went out on top and other great athletes should be smart enough to follow his cue.

I wanted Bowles gone after about four games. It was clear pretty quickly he was out of his depth entirely

None available, we’re trying to keep the list to realistic candidates

We shoot for Kamara and make them decide between him and Sean Payton.

I know it's a pipe dream, but there's still that off chance that Steelers decide to move on from Tomlin, thinking he takes too many risks and with Ben retiring soon, might be best for a fresh start. I'd scoop him up in a heartbeat if I'm the Jets.

    It’s Harbaugh.

    EDIT: Jim Harbaugh

I got totally caught out by a click bait article this morning - the headline you could read was "Jets make Jim Harbaugh..." and I was thinking "their new HC" but it was just "...an offer he can't refuse" - though I suspect he certainly will.
