So looks like according to the playoff status site the Jets will pick 4th if they lose and 5th if they win(assuming the others lose) I’d much rather keep Pats from a bye and pick 5th than lose and pick 4th.
We’re picking 4th now, if all the teams at 5 and under wins lose other than Jets we’ll be at 5th it looks like. Only way beating the Pats really hurts us is if multiple of Cards, 49ers, Raiders win.
I'm pretty sure that we do move up to third for now if they win, based on their better strength of schedule.
With how NE is playing now I wouldn't be shocked if we beat them in NE. Brady really looks old that they're all out of sorts We're the Jets. The one game we absolutely need to lose to NE we'll win
Lol just got back from The Feast of the Seven Fishes to a 3 TD Raider lead. Throw in a fat man and a tree and you’ve got Christmas.
They can draft anywhere from 1-5, but will almost certainly draft #4 even with a win. They currently hold #3 and will retain that pick with a loss, and can move up to #2 with some SOS variables falling into place week 17. They also move up with either a SF or ARI win, and to #1 if both teams win or ARI wins and the SOS variables occur. This is a good thread explaining everything...
Thank you Oakland. Now all we need is an Arizona loss and some SOS games to go our way for SF and we have a shiny new Nick Bosa.
So per that thread, the jets need 3 out of four games to pass 49ers. Chargers over Denver Giants over Dallas Bucs over Atlanta Ravens over browns 3 of those teams are home. Dallas will likely rest as they are locked into the 4th seed.
Seattle still has an incentive to win. Because if they lose and Minnesota wins, they'll drop to 6. Which means instead of going to Dallas, they'll be going to Chicago.
