God...3 weeks to go? The season is too damn short. First up: Thursday Night Football, Chargers @ Chiefs. KC clinches the AFCW with a win (which I think they will). If SD wins, they would still need KC to lose again because of tiebreakers. I'd rather the assholes of the AFC have to go thru Arrowhead than the Chargers' kiddie park, so here's hoping the Chiefs take care of business.
This should be a great game tonight. The Chiefs seem to have taken a slight step back without Hunt, but they are still looking good. It would be nice to see them win a playoff game for once.
5 time All Pro Eric Berry is starting for the Chiefs tonight in a limited capacity. Hopefully it'll help with the Chiefs secondary. It's his first game in over a year.
I have nothing against the Chargers, but I hope the Chiefs win tonight and get one step closer to getting HFA in the playoffs. I can't stand the thought of the Pats hosting another AFC Championship game.
I'm excited for tonight's game. Two really good teams that I have nothing against. I can almost slip into a fantasy that I'm a fan of one of these teams...until I realize I'm a Jets fan and the Jets suck.
Is anyone watching the Chefs and Chargers tonite? Just a picture of what's wrong with the Jet offensive system on whole. The Gap between our offense and the elites of the league is bigger than the Grand Canyon.
The Chiefs have to be the fastest team in the league. Almost all their skill guys could be Olympic sprinters.
he def is, but he's just chucking the ball down the field. Chargers O does need to calm down this pass rush.
Chiefs have some stud pass rushers in Ford and Jones. May have to extend Ford an offer if we don't go edge rusher early in the draft.
Some of the weakest ticky tack penalties being called. Just awful. Game has no flow, just bogged down with flag after flag. For nothing
It's always amazing to me how Rivers throws the ball with that funky delivery yet he lays it right in the receiver's hands 25 yards down the field.
In a sane world, with that ball swirling around, that's incomplete. No way he had control before that foot was out of bounds. But they'll stick with the call on the field. Also a blatant pushoff, but fuck these refs.
