Draft order concerns versus Darnold's progress. Were you happy with the win today?

Ill take the win fuck the draft order...After years of busts it amazes me how Jets fans can still care about the draft order.This win will give Darnold a huge confidence boost moving foward...thats crucial.

 

4-6 but still better than 0-3 with McCown.

That went through my mind, too. That’s also true!

 

Come from behind win for Darnold who struggled in the first half but battled and had a quality second half. Happy with the win because Darnold was the catalyst.

I voted no.
It was great to see Darnold play well but that first round pick was worth a couple picks this year and next.
that could have gone a long way toward making wins like today's meaningful for Darnold going forward

 

I'm happy with the win because it was due in large part to Darnold stepping up when it mattered, which is what great QBs learn to do. ANd if he does the same thing for the next three games and they somehow win all three - will NOT happen - I'd be happy then too. The only way I'll be unhappy is if any of this success is attributed to Bowles and Macc and they're retained.

But this was a big game for Sam. He had a lot to prove and he did so. And while it hasn't been mentioned, I believe he took this head to head match up with Allen a personal challenge. This was the #3 player taken vs the #7 player and I think Darnold wanted to show everyone that it was the right order.

Now, if they would only fire Bowles and Bates, or at least prevent them from calling any more plays, and just let Sam play!

 

Signing Levon Bell is more important...He will make an impact instantly.We need a few guys like that in Free Agency.

I disagree. Multiple early draft picks who would be cheap would have a greater, longer lasting impact than Bell. Besides, trading that #1 pick and gaining multiple picks this year and next, actually makes it easier to make a splash in free agency for a player like Bell. Less holes to fill means less FAs to sign allowed more flexibility

 

If Sam is leading us to wins that’s progress. My only concern is that if we go on a run Bowles might save his job

 

The fact we have this thread is sad. I get the draft order thing but if you're a fan you should want a win every week no matter the situation.
