I would take him in a heartbeat. Everywhere he has ever gone, he has won. That is not a guarantee of success with the Jets, but his odds of being successful here are better than everyone else (except for Belicheck and the Harbaughs).
Maybe we can get LT, Ray Lewis and Ray Carruth to come out of retirement as well. ~ "Never half ass two things, whole ass one thing" St. Swanson
I was about to post this but wasn't sure where to put it, NCAA Forum or another poll thread that has since been closed. http://amp.si.com/college-football/2018/12/04/ohio-state-urban-meyer-retirement Don't want him especially after the protecting the wife beater thing. I'm not too up on college ball, but I do know Meyer is a snake and has a highly unscrupulous track record. Pass.
Are they actually real health concerns this time.... or fake ones to justify walking away from a poor recruiting class to go coach Ohio State?
What I need to happen is for the Johnsons to have a stripper scandal. Better yet, hookers and blow. At least give me something to really laugh at instead of the weekly debacles. A change of pace is in order.
Real it seems. There were stories posted about how he was having seizures and convulsions due to the inflammation of the tumor on his brain. It's congenital - so he was born with this issue. It ain't going to get better for the guy.
Unfortunately I know more about brains than I wish I did. Most of the time arachnoid brain cysts cause headaches, but symptoms can range from mild to deadly, especially if you develop hydrocephalus. They can be tricky to remove, and it's usually a last resort if/when it becomes life-threatening. The other alternative is going in there (depending where it's located), and breaking it open to drain it. Still don't want him.
That is a plus, we need a coach that can bring things back from the dead like our talent level, our over all effort and execution, and the fan bases enthusiasm
It's the only thing I'm looking for right now. The only unknown is Maccagnan following Bowles out the door. Then the truly unknown will be who will they target as the new coach? Are they gonna go back to Wolf and Casserly again? That was an epic failure. Or do they interview people which have blown up in their face before? What will probably happen is they will settle for the only guy who would come here and take the job. Kinda like John Idzik Part Two only a coach. I still believe Woody Johnson is hated in NFL circles. It probably started with Bellichek's ultimate middle finger at his press conference.
