According to our resident QB Guru, @Rollo Tomassi there is no way Jets will win. In the end, we are playing against an elite QB on the road. TItans will crush the Jets. @Rollo Tomassi - Kidding aside, your Mariota defeats Cowboys, defeats Pats but loses against average teams. So your Mariota is really the definition of average. Please accept this fact so I can send you another $25 gift card. Lol.
I posted this in another thread. The Strained foot is worse than it sounds. My son sprained the arch of his foot 2 years ago playing the the doctor told us if he had broken a bone it would have healed faster. Soft tissue foot injuries take a long time to fully recover.
Strains and sprains are always one misstep away from re-injury too. These things linger for a long time. At this point I don't know if I'd even bother putting Sam in, he has 9 games worth of NFL tape he can use to improve in the offseason.
Wish I could like your post multiple times. Absolutely awesome. If I didn't get eliminated from my Fantasy Football playoffs this past week or if the Jets were worth watching I would have had my iPad there and ready to watch redzone.
Whatever he does, he must have an escape plan from 'Celebration', Kenny Rogers, and the Hokey Pokey. He also must have an escape plan from speeches. They're the worst. My advice is to drink too much to dull the pain and then hide in the john until it's over. Maybe pass out on the dance floor during the couple's song/dance. Or fake it. Either one will do to get you hated and excluded from any other obligations in the future. You're welcome.
I thought Bowles was coaching the Titans last night with their lack of aggression and non-stop punting in the 3rd and 4th Quarter. The Jets have a chance in this game, but there is no way any fan can be confident in that. Or care too much.
My son strained his foot and tore ligaments. He was out for 6 weeks. In the NFL no one gives a true answer on injuries, I'm guessing is a strain and with torn ligaments. If so we may not see him again until the last game of the year.
I mentioned it elsewhere that they really don't have any play makers other than Corey Davis. Derrick Henry is a TD vulture (ala Mike Alstott) that only has 4td and wasn't even called on to run the ball on 4th down, they gave it to a TE that hadn't touched the ball all year! Dion Lewis is nice change of pace guy but NOT a featured back. Anytime Mariota runs outside the pocket, move up, drop your man and he's stopped. he still takes stupid sacks instead of throwing the ball away. I didn't count it but I'd say on 4 of the 6 sacks last night he could have thrown the ball away. For such a high pick this guy is more one dimensional than any other 1st round pick still starting. They rarely throw down field to keep defenses honest (part of it is lack of talent) but their game calling seems as bad or worse than the Jets. Still I don't see the Jets beating them.
Yeah, good analysis. Henry should be able to shred the Jets D if they try enough. And Mariota will hit a few wide open WR's I am sure. It will probably be another ugly Jets game.
To ba fair the Jets also don't play well against QBs that cannot run and RBs that cannot catch - in fact I heard that the training dummies at practice held them into a close game in overtime
If titans play physical we will get blown out. I expect another L and a 13pt performance by our juggernaut O and great play calling.
donkey. So sad I missed out when you came over. I am still dreaming to have a pint of Guiness with you in London. Cheers mate!
This one just has a W for the Jets written all over it, which will then be followed by talk of Bowles keeping the locker room together in a valiant effort to save his job.
The bastards! You'd think they'd show a little respect after we took the aging and irrelevant Brett Favre off their hands.
