Time to move on to next week and the next opponent. No real need for a long post mortem because we already know the answers as to why this team continues to go in the direction it is. This game and the 2nd Bills are the last 2 winnable games left on the schedule. Unfortunately for the Jets, both are on the road. So even if the team wins both of those games, Bowles will once again be 5-11. Hopefully someone on the Jets had enough pocket cash to buy that new 85" 8K beauty from Samsung and be kind enough to invite the team over to watch the playoffs on it. Its only $15K and I'm sure between TJ, Crowell and McCown, they can all chip in on one... Not much mystery to think about. Not much to look forward to in 2018 either. Maybe Sam plays, maybe not. Maybe Bowles AND Macc walks the plank, maybe only one of them, maybe none of them. That's what passes for mystery in JetLand these days. 2020 will be our year.

None of this makes any sense if it's true. If the team gave a crap about their fans they would at least try to explain what the hell is going on with him, one way or the other.
I expect the Titans to win going away. Nothing about our team's play since week 6 makes me believe they can even be competitive in Nashville.
Aye, God, is there even a week 13? 13 is a lucky number if you're a guinea (can confirm, am guinea), so maybe they win this one. Then again, 17 is an unlucky number if you're a guinea (can confirm, am guinea). My birthday falls on the 17th (go figure), so maybe that explains this incompetent franchise? Strike it up to tales of the unknown with creaking doors and odd disappearances. GO JETS!!! Oh, and the Jets sure are good at disappearing in critical moments. Maybe I'm onto something.
The Titans are a strange team, they've given up the fewest points in the AFC on D yet their offense has scored the second fewest (Buf is worst). Coming into last weekends game they lost a close game to the Chargers, then beat Dallas and NE and lay an egg against Indy and Mariota gets hurt. They've given up 20pts or more in 5 games and lost 4 so this isn't a team that can score in the 20's which makes them the inconsistent team they've been. If Mariota comes out of tonight's game healthy I'd lean towards a Jets loss. On paper this team shouldn't have anywhere near 5 wins. Delanie Walker is out for the season, Corey Davis is their only decent WR and has 2 100yd receiving games, neither Henry nor Lewis has a 100 yd rushing game and Lewis has 3 100 yd combined rush/receiving yd games. Despite having better weapons the Jets are only marginally better in scoring offense, Crowell has 2 100yd rushing games, Anderson has 1 100 yd receiving game. The Jets don't tend to play well against QB's that can run nor RB's that catch the ball out of the backfield. Tenn 20 Jets 13
If the Titans play anywhere near they did against the Pats this is going to be a blowout! I just can't see the Jets winning another game this year.

Ugh, I hate weddings. If I don't get invited, I don't get insulted. My reaction is always, "Good!" I would actually pick watching the Jets over a wedding if I had my druthers, but that's just me. Wait, wait, slight retraction, the absolute WORST is a baby shower (which even tops bridal showers on the shit scale). Why the F are you sticking your hand out for donations when you decided to get knocked up? I'd rather get shot in the back of the head execution style than sit through another one of those. This is a classic spot where the Jets will pull a win out of their collective hind regions and completely screw up a solid spot in the draft. #6 overall, here we come.
Nice post CMan..God Bless your optimism But Tenn is a Playoff contender and the Bills destroyed us at home ...these are far from winnable imo When I was much much younger ..when the Jets had a little better coaching and management my Heart would always be full of hope after a bad loss or a losing streak...well you know happened ...sigh
