With the 3rd pick- who do we take?

I like the idea of trading out of the top 10 and picking up two picks in the first round. Then spend one one a pass rusher and the other on a offensive lineman.

Im not rooting for us to lose. But I Cant anything other than us picking in the top 5.

 

Last I checked, we're picking 4th as of now. I'd like Greg Little or Jonah Williams if we can't trade down first.

 

Jonah Williams, Tackle, Alabama

 

Trade out of the spot if possible. Hopefully we'll be able to get high enough to hold the spot ransom for one of those teams that is overly desperate for one of the top QBs.

 

I would rather we trade down because we have so many holes. We need to regain our second round pick.

 

Nick Bosa, Jonah Williams, or Greg Little.

 

As much as I hate to say it, if Bosa is on the board we almost have to take him.

Then it’s either Jonah Williams or trade back.

 

Hopefully after the bowl games and combine there are QB's that a few teams will be desperate to leapfrog and grab - similar to what the Colts did to the Jets last year. What concerns me is Mac being the one to burn through those acquired picks...

Same. It’s always been about Bosa for me.

Him and Lawrence would change the defense overnight.

 

Think Oakland is our biggest worry. But I also think anyone with #1 is going to trade out for someone who wants a QB.

 

Trade down early and often--this time has many holes to fill and need at least 3 new OL, either thru draft or FA. Mike McIdiot will probably stay put and draft a DB at 4. I checked the schedule today and do not see the jets or the 3 teams below them winning another game this season.

 

San Fran has Seattle twice, Denver, Chicago, Rams. Only because 4 of 5 are division they have a small chance of winning one
Zona has GB, Detroit, Atlanta, Rams and Seattle. Detroit at home looks like their only chance to win one.
Oakland has KC twice, Pitt, Cinci and Denver. Cinci or Denver at home looks like the only chance they have.

No one plays each other and the Jets only chance of winning another would be at Buffalo or at home against GB.

Giants and Jax has a chance at losing all the rest of theirs, so Jets could drop to 7th, their only positive right now is their strength of schedule which would put them ahead in any tie breaker.

 

gonna be real important to get an additional pick in here. the jets absolutely have to get 2 first round talents next april so the trade down is a real necessity. gotta go LT with the first pick regardless and then go D with the second choice. That could be LB, corner, or DL - its a deep defensive draft.

 

Trade down early & often.The goal is to end up w book end tackles & 2 offensive skill players.

I have no interest in the 2019 jets if drastic changes are not made to the offense.I dont care what they do at edge or on defense.Its time to score points

 

I agree that the offense needs to be improved, but we need a pass rush badly too. I'm hoping we sign Lawrence in FA so it becomes less of a priority come draft time.

 

OT, Bosa or Ferrell. Or trade down.

 

Trade down and find a way to draft Jachai Polite (EDGE) and Yodny Cajuste (LT) with your first 2 picks.
