When it comes to healing, trust me age is a factor. Injure something at 21? chances are pretty good you'll heal up quicker than if you were 31. We won't even mention McClown's age. Sam moves around pretty good, but freak shit happens out of the blue sometimes.
We can kinda shade the odds in our favor by not rushing the kid too. He's 21 and God willing has many years in front of him in the NFL. We should be doing everything in our power to make sure Sam is around. That includes putting quality in front of him instead of what's there presently. Again, there's nothing he can gain from playing out 2018 that he couldn't gain in 2019 with a presumably better roster around him. No rush. No need to rush.
