Studs Claiborne - had a few passes defensed (4) and was great in coverage all day and one of only a handful that looked to be going full speed maguire/cannon - both young RBs looked really good overall. they combined for 92 yards on 14 touches Herndon - once again led the team in receiving. williamson - 11 tackles, 1 for a loss and a FF Duds Mccown - was awful. goes to show how impressive sam has been for us in the situation he faces. crowell - usesless RB unless he can get to the 2nd level untouched. I hope he's gone next year and we use maguire and cannon more. if we cna't land bell, maybe we can make a run at ingram? Defense - everyone on the defense except williamson and claiborne should be embarassed johnson - got burned by a nobody on the 1st ply of the game. he isn't living up to his contract at all Bowles - defensive gameplan sucked and this team was not ready to play bates - another poor game with the playcalling. just awful. Jets lead the league in 3 and outs and it seems it's made our defense just quit or get worn out Kearse/enunwa - did nothing yet again all game long. 6 catches for 34 yards combined on 13 targets

Studs: Edwards - he had some good punts in the first half, in fact he was the Jets best offensive weapon. Duds: Edwards - shanked two punts late in game, but by then it didn't matter.
If we got the effort that Adams plays with, from all 22, Bowles wouldn't be about to be out of a job.
he didn't have a bad game, i love his fire and energy but he didn't do enough to be a stud. he also lost contain going for a TFL on mccoy instead fo staying in his lane on that 1st TD run of the game. adams should have made the tackle but he shotupfield and inside too early trying to make a TFL and mcooy bounced it outside and scored an easy TD to start the game claiborne was by far the best player on the field for us yesterday and he criticized the other players after the game for lack of effort
But don't you worry. The staff is remaining in tact because of the importance of "defensive continuity".
