It was either going to be this week or at the end of the season. Doesn't make sense to do it any other time than now during the season.
Friends of mine want Sam benched the ROS . "Secure the high pick. Keep Sam on the sideline. The longer he's out there the more likely he turns into Mark Sanchez" That falls on COACHING!
I prefer in entire makeover of the team so if that means it will have to wait till the off-season, then I will patiently wait. I am not going to like it but I can live with that. The head coach is not the only issue here.
When players stop giving the head coach effort its time to pull the plug, regardless of whether there is going to be a full makeover. You need to show the team that underperforming and getting dominated for multiple weeks in a row is unacceptable.
Just so I'm clear on this: the team has quit, this regime clearly has no idea what it's doing...but he'll stick around another 7 weeks? OK then, why should we?
What is it with this team and always waiting till the end of the season to fire a coach? Just do it now. Then again, maybe this is a good idea tank wise.
11am est and TB is still gainfully employed as HC of the Jets. I think it's going to be another disappointing day in Jets lore.
Again, if they did quit, then why they would not quit under Bates Or Rogers? Change the entire coaching staff is my preference.
Forget the fan mutiny. The players now know he is a dead man walking. There is no reason to play the rest of the season for them. Playoffs, not happening. New coaching staff, 100% happening. Why should they give a shit what Bowles says?
Because the tape matters for the players. If any player is suspected of throwing it in and then it shows up on tape, if I were a new coaching regime, I would not want these players on my team.
This is why he should stay for the remains of the season. Make him work through the misery. Make him clock in and put in the time...every miserable minute. The post game pressers will be his 7 circles of hell. He already hates them...he can face the music for the next 6 weeks. Why should he get spared the purgatory that he's put us in. Let him suffer like the rest of us. #KeepTodd
Lol. I don't disagree with you. I'm thinking of me. If I know he is the coach I won't watch knowing we have no hope and he'll continue to make the awful in game adjustments and not pull players who should be pulled. Sad we have to go through this.
Jets have one game remaining on the schedule that they have a remote chance of winning and that team just beat them by 31 in our own house. Bowles is gone whether it’s today or 7 weeks from today doesn’t really matter.
Then why even subject Bowles through 7 weeks if he's just going to be gone anyway? Do it now and get it out of the way.
