If we finish with 6-7 wins, we could eliminate the Packers, Titans , Texans and possibly the Patriots from the post season. Talk about spoilers. 1 maybe 2 wins possible, but unlikely
Really haven't changed my mind, but felt like stirring the pot a little. After this game, figured everyone is so pissed, myself included that I give a target for the anger.
Yesterday's loss was "THE LOSS". That had to be the one that convinced ownership its over. Fans wanted Bowles gone a long time ago but yesterday had to be the one that convinced ownership. Will it happen today or the end of the season, I don't know but it has to happen.
It has to be today. There is no way they can keep this guy the rest of the season. I read somewhere that there were Fire Bowles chants at the game yesterday.
He'll probably end up in Cleveland, but hopefully they'll SIGN THIS BEAST https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...rting-of-ways-in-season-firing-not-discussed/
Ehy does it have to happen today? Wouldn’t they have found an interim coach by now or had in mind for weeks. Again while I feel that Bowles was given ample time and opportunities and should be replaced, but would be a good time? Ok right now would be good but who is this person? Who can steer in the right direction? Who can regroup the guys where it’s proven the guys love playing for Bowles? Not as easy as it seems. Else the Jets would have the right guy in mind to replace him by now. I would not mind to wait until off season to lure Harbaugh.
IF accurate, they can get lost with this talk about "minimizing in-season disruption" for Sam. The worst thing that happened to Sam is that this head coach is still here, two seasons after he should have been fired.
Crickets at 8:50 am. This is a no brainer. If they don't make any changes we have one of two options: A. Boycott the remaining three home games. B. Sell your Patriot and Packer tickets to Patriot and Packer fans. Make it a home game for the other team. I'd include the Texans but not sure I know any and not sure if they travel.
Charlie Weiss and Ross Tucker on NFL would be "surprised" if we wasn't let go with the BYE week here.
Not quoting you. More concerned about this tweet. Mehta has the ear of someone in this orginization. He killed the candidacy of Marrone who is a homegrown guy and offensive guy. He is now saying Bowles will surivive. He really hurts us. How the News still employs him. Mehta is one of the reasons we are in this mess.
Valid post but Marrone and Jax aren't exactly setting the world on fire right now and Bortles looks like Bortles again. Not sure what's going on there.
I agree. After last year I can't believe what has happened in Jacksonville. I think Marrone is like Rex. People are rah rah but it wears thin quick. Bortles hasn't helped him either. Either way Marrone is better than Bowles and would've been better for us. Somehow Mehta started a smear campaign and it resonated with the right people and that is an issue.
the question is who? takes over if TB is indeed let go in-season? i would let him coach the remainder of the year.
