    I was at the butt fumble game. I think it was 28-3 as time was expiring in the first half. Jets hit a field goal, and they LITERALLY set off the stadium fireworks. Was hoping they would do that now

    ...48 against the Lions on opening night, 34 against the Broncos, 42 againsts the Colts, and this is how far we've fallen.

    My kids football (soccer) team lost 16-2 this morning. I'm beginning to think I've got something to do with this malaise.

    While your point is right, in a season like this, it simply makes sense to want a shot at choosing a top 5-6 player rather than having to trade up and give up assets the team needs.

    Sure, you can find a quality OL (for example) later on, but if you had the top prospect staring you in the face while you’re on the clock, you can’t be unhappy about that.
