    Why would you think Dennison is able to keep him safe, he's the one responsible for the O Line.

    He was OC for the Broncos and Bills and while he wasn't good he was better than Bates. And I think our line being terrible is more Mac's fault than the coaching, my problem with Bates is the play calling.

    Starting Webb would also preserve our draft position. And if he's good, he'll give us ammo. The Jets only run into problems if he's mediocre like McCown and good enough to win us games, but not enough to get to the tournament (i.e., run the goddamn table).

    If they do start McCown, I won't watch. At least that's what I'll say... For now.

    When did McLoser become a automatic W type of QB?

    He's a year older, he's coming off a career year what he's aging like a fine wine?

    I understand Bowles (and I hope MacCagnan) is trying to save his behind if they wanted to have better odds to win without Darnold they shoulda kept Bridgewater at least he still has hope for a upside.

    It's bad enough if McCown plays well. If Webb is good, the Jets as a franchise are fucked. Unless he's really good (i.e. good enough to unseat Darnold as the franchise) which isn't going to happen.

    JHC... when does a HC not know his starting QB is injured. What a Fking loser. Very very convenient for this injury to pop up.... what a dumpster fire this team is under this HC.

    It feels like a save face, save Todd's job, break. Sure we'll endure another year of coaching gaffes, ignoring the line, searching the junk drawer for pass rushers, a shitty secondary...list goes on and on.

    When will we learn? He's a kid. We threw Sanchez out there, we threw Geno out there.. there was no reason to rush him out there we had this set up perfectly to let Darnold sit and learn, play Bridgewater for a year, then build the roster next year and start Darnold. You guys screamed he'd never develop sitting down but now there's questions of if he's regressing and now he's hurt.
