I was patient with Bowles. Hated his lack of awareness, poor clock management, defense never making big stops when needed, horrendous penalties week to week etc. During his tenure, the team rarely came out of half time prepared to play. Through all of this, still gave him the benefit of the doubt(The team did play hard for him last year and was competitive) This was the year for Bowles to show us he can coach- and show us he has grown in the position. After today- I have officially lost faith- and he needs to be fired. To then say in the post Game- the defense needs to make more plays!?- you can tell he is rattled, and has lost confidence in himself.
I don't really care how Bowles answers the press, what I care about is performance on the field and the past two games have been two of the worst performances I've ever seen. Rookie QB, growing pains, etc. Yes, but at least give Sam a chance to be successful. - Long's snaps are all over the place and Harrison can't block my dead grandmother. Long has to play center but Sam can't be in the shotgun - he should be under center. - Sam's accuracy outside the numbers has fallen off - he needs to take his shots over the middle of the field. The sideline is not his friend right now yet we are dialing up countless sideline passes. - A freakin' fullback would mean an extra blocker, we have none. - Sam's better in the hurry-up when he doesn't have time to think, just play. Yet, we are near the bottom of the league in using the no-huddle. - This defense is actually pretty good but when the offense is repeatedly "3 and out" the defense is going to run out of gas midway through the 3rd quarter. We've seen it several times this year. I really hoped that Bowles would grow into the position but the team is regressing. It's time for a change at the top.
Players love playing for Bowles because, even when it’s blatantly obvious they fucked up, he won’t call them out You know what Bowles? Maybe you should call some of these cucks out in the media.

Does he have 7 Ints in the last 3 games? I am ok with living his mistakes as a rookie but man, some of his Ints were sure ugly. Definitely his worst game of the season. I was hoping he picks up better after facing 2 straight tough defensive teams.
Also I predicted every Darnold INT before he threw it If I can call his INT's (and look it up I called every one) the defense can too I wish Jets football wasn't so predictable
