    Maybe Trent Cannon can tell Crowell how to hit the hole in short yardage, instead of waiting for a block that is never going to clear so you can break off 15.

    Crowell stuffed on 3rd and 1. Is it turkey hunting season? A lot of turkeys on the field, it'd be like shooting fish in a barrel.

    So when we run up the middle on 4th and short and get it's a good call. However, when we do it on 3rd and short and don't get it because Shell misses his block, Bates is smoking drugs. Ok I get how it works now.

    God this team drives me nuts! Was that 3 or 4 pre snap penalties against us that Quarter? Todd just sitting there like a zombie on the sideline. Granted I like going for it on 4th there but a lot more negatives then positives that Quarter...

    For the most part, Bates has been predictable in his playcalling. He got lucky with that 4th and 1 but don't try to make it sound like anything else other than luck. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.
