Bottom line is that our current complement of skill position players needs to be upgraded. We need a true number one wide receiver. Even when all of our current receivers are healthy, they aren't keeping defensive coordinators awake at night.
I "got it" when you wrote Moss got flak for being skinny. That was a knock on him when he first came out. You lost me when you said "he's like a low budget moss". That's just goofy.
There is absolutely no proof of that. Until this year's draft, we didn't have a QB to build around and we have had a TON of holes, and some of those holes have been at more important positions than WR (LT, edge rusher, #1 CB, S, TE). We still don't have an edge rusher or future LT. Those two positions are infinitely more important than a #1 WR. Football isn't just about being "entertaining." We have to protect Sam's blind side and upgrade the OL or it won't matter who we have at WR, and we have to be able to pressure other team's QBs so our D can get off the field. "Having it in them and rolling the dice" (trading for a WR) would be one of the dumbest possible moves that they could make at this point in time. In the upcoming FA period and draft, getting their future LT, an edge rusher, upgrading the OL depth, and perhaps adding a RB or a better TE are going to have to take priority. If they can do that, or at least sign an edge rusher in FA and draft their future LT in the 1st round, then I think they will be free to draft a #1 WR type in the 2020 draft. As the old saying goes, "Rome wasn't built in a day."
Based on what, they didnt want to bring in a loser like Gordon who missed 43 of his last 48 games due to suspensions? Or was it not giving a one for a WR that no one else offered a 1 for other than Dallas?
Problem is most dont realize thats the most answered question. Or that its a real thing, a real issue. Especially when youre building a team with so many young players
A dressing room cancer, when did 'Jets: The Musical' open off-off-Broadway? That is actually a brilliant idea for a play. Don't anyone steal it.
robby has proven it on the field. just like moss it's only dumb fans making an issue out of nothing. i'm far from full of shit and if you actually listened to what i sad, then went back and watched and looked for it, you'd realize that
whatever dude lol. robbie isn't nearly as good as moss but is a similar player just not as talented so "low budget moss" is a pretty good description
