He's another long threat option. There really wasn't much else we could do without giving up capital.

I'd say this is a good move based on necessity. I expect Rishard to have at least 3 TDs by season end. I'm also predicting one of his scores will be longer than 60 yards.

    Here is where we differ.
Its not about criticizing Sam. It’s about evaluating him honestly.
IMO the rest of this is a Sam apologist post. Quit making excuses. It doesn’t hurt to admit he still has a lot of development to complete and is lacking chemistry with some wideouts. The world wont end if you recognize it.

I'm all for it, he helped develop Goff after he looked like a bust in 2016. My only reservation is that he's never been a HC before. As we've seen many times, some coordinators are not HC material. The success of McVay has me open to the idea.

Isn't that what everybody who knows anything says about Bates?

Sam apologist post? Why, because you don't like that the facts and numbers poke a massive hole in your Jermaine Kearse balloon? I'm more than fine with evaluating Sam honestly, but this little Kearse crusade the two of you are on is about as effective as a remote with no batteries.

Bottom line is if you think using the receiving numbers of someone who has played over 55%% of the offensive snaps only four times this season (especially when bringing up the fact he led last year, where he played 85% on average) is a valid criticism of the quarterback, you are either trying too hard to sound smart or you aren't smart.

all 3 of those are very overrated WRs due to inflated stats in a pass heavy offense with HOF QBs. you put any of those 3 on the jets and they don't crack 1k yards. most fans don't watch these guys play and just look at numbers and stats don't always tell the whole tale

he's getting open, not just deep but everywhere on the field again fans here way underrate him. watch replays and then eye anderson, it's pretty much always open. not to mention with the massive cushion he gets many of the times, it's amazing bates hasn't called some bubble screens his way for an easy 5 yards with big play potential

In all fairness I would love JuJu to become a Jet :)

you think any of those 3 would be household names without being on pass heavy teams with HOF QBs? JuJu also benefits from having AB opposite of him drawing attention as well. MT and JE don't have that luxury as they are the guy in their offenses. But any time you have a HOF QB and a pass heavy team it skews the stats. hell rodgers is making scrub tier WRs throw up big numbers in GB right now.

he's a good WR don't get me wrong but he isn't a top WR in the game by any means. He's a better fantasy WR then actual WR and better then anyone we have not named anderson and i would take him on the jets every day.

I don't disagree that being on the teams that they are on gives them better numbers than if they were here, but I couldn't disagree any more that Robby would have 1500 yards receiving if they swapped spots. He's just not a good all-around receiver. He's made of twigs and his route-running isn't anywhere near as good as the three mentioned. Guys like Thomas and JuJu out-physical their way to catches. Robbie stands no chance in that dept.

Dude we’re all football fans and we all watch them play. Don’t pull that petty bullshit.

Robby is not an all around great WR, he’s a great deep threat.

All of those other guys are great receivers in every facet of the receiving game.

Would they be as good on the Jets as their respective teams?

    No.

But they’d all be superior WRs to Robby.

I think Robbie is closer to Malcolm Floyd than Michael Thomas. And that's perfectly fine.

that's fan nonsense. randy moss was made of twigs and supposedly a 1 trick pony and look at his career. anderson is very similar to him but he does run a full route tree. i've even pointed it out in videos as well. fans just like to talk nonsense at times.

    Dude... is this real?

    Randy Moss - 6'4" 210 lbs
    Robby Anderson - 6'3" 190 lbs

You can't see why that's a horrendous physical comparison?

Lol Randy Moss was one of the most physically gifted players (not just WRs) to ever play the game. He was a physical freak.

Please don’t mention Robby Anderson and Randy Moss is the same sentence. It’s silly.

I was just putting it out there that one of the top flight hot names was LaFleur. Not sure if it was his decision to kinda X out Matthews or not but between that and moreso the fact that their offense has looked bad (this maybe due to QB play) his HC candidacy may have taken a hit. This league is about what have you done for me lately. I'm sure in league circles, Chiefs OC Eric Bieniemy is the hottest name out there.

and your point is? they have a similar build and every "critique" you made about anderson was made about moss as well. player weight is nonsense anyway, they all put on weight in the NFL but are only listed at college weight. stop looking at stats and nonsense and use your eyes and really watch.

false. SOJ-fans. if juju was here and anderson was a steeler you'd be saying the opposite.
