And a butt fumble. Changes his number to 6 at halftime.

    Am I doing it right?

I don't think it's that posters are week to week, I think it's that they only show up when the team wins (if they're optimists) or loses (if they're pessimists). Let's put it this way, DefenseWinsChampionships isn't showing up this week.

I have a feeling we're going to see a lot of creativity from the bears offense this week, and they're going to kill our defense, and it's going to make everyone pine away for an offensive minded head coach.

This game on the road has blowout written all over it. They are a much better team on both sides of the ball. The Pats needed two special teams TD's to beat them. The Bears could easily be undefeated if they didn't seem to get nervous and stupid in crunch time. They have a really solid team they just seem to have an implosion play in games that they should be winning. This isn't a spot that it will hurt them.

If we can pull this out of our asses there’s a chance out 2 remaining games before the bye are vs Brock Osweiller and Nathan Peterman.

Ding ding ding! We have a winner! I just don't understand people who post things about how "the board" feels this, and how "the board" reacts that way. It's all about individuals, and who is posting more at that time determines how "the board" feels at that time. As you say, right now there's no reason for optimistic people to post, other than to say "I'm still optimistic," but there are loads of reasons for pessimistic people to post. I would bet that virtually no one actually changes their opinion at all from week to week, at least not after only 6 or 7 weeks.

I have become so Numb to all the losing for 35+ years it honestly does not
even bother my life or my emotions anymore. I wanted to see progress this year
and i think we are seeing it as small as it may seem. I would never give up on
this team but they have tested my loyalty throughout my years i can tell you that!!!

I hear ya, I am going on 51 years. I used to have a full head of hair that was like a wire brush...but kept taking my hand and sweeping it back over my hair and now its gone!!!!! Maybe just a coincidence but... I have seen this dysfunction before - more then I care to admit - but like you they are my team and my "hope" is they will get a HC that can coach.... because this guy has a worst losing % then Kotite and that my friend is pretty bad.

PS. I expect them to lose because they will again be out coached.

Bold prediction: We shock the Bears this week and take revenge on the Dolphins next week. Peterman throws a pick six on his first pass and McDermott replaces him with Derek Anderson, who throws for 300 yards and 3 TDs to beat us.

    Sounds about right.

Then we go into the bye at 5-5 and play an unbelievably close game against New England before losing on a play where Crowell runs into the end zone untouched but a touchback is awarded to the Patriots because he didn’t hold onto the ball for at least 15 seconds after scoring.

All I ask for is a close game. The Jets have only had two games that were decided by less than a TD. I'd like to see Darnold playing in more games that go down to the wire.
