its so obvious without quincy they have to bring a Wr ASAP. The defense even without all the secondary has played really well.
What happened to all the posters who said we had so much depth at WR? It was supposed to be our "biggest asset"/"who needs a #1?"/"we have 4 #1s".
We need an impact #1 WR ASAP. Jets will have to cough up a #1 draft pick, otherwise no deal. The people who thought Jets were set at the wide out position without any proven talent was some serious wishful thinking on their part.
As much as I would love to hear "Darnold to Cooper - Touchdown!" over and over, at 3 and 4 I think we wait until the off season to make anything happen.
Waiting until the offseason does give the Jets the advantage of knowing what they will have to give up in terms of draft position. But there is also the disadvantage of having some of the guys that are available now being gobbled up by other teams. No need to wait. Get the kid a receiver now so they can start developing some chemistry during this season when there will be less pressure than a season where there is a playoff run involved.
No real point burning a 1st round pick on an existing WR like Cooper. Nothing is happening this season, just suck it up and draft someone like AJ Brown instead.
No idea of Cooper's value, but how about a 3rd for Cooper and a 5th/6th? I'd do that Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
Injuries, the idiots cut Pryor and they hardly try to get Robbie Anderson involved in the offense oh and Darnold and Anderson don't have great chemistry. They've turned Anderson into a one tick pony a go route only guy. No slants over the middle, post patterns, bubble screens, end arounds. No inagination at all.
If Darnold takes the field with this same receiver group next week, the front office failed him. You don’t throw your rookie out there with pure dogshit for him to throw to. Example: today.
Players. There’s also a finite number of roster spots and a salary cap. Injuries suck but this was a serviceable corp before the injuries piled up. I’m not gonna kill Mac for not making a move like Gordon.
