There are 2 sides of the coin here. I don't think he is great; never have said that or probably never will. That said; he is not as awful as many make him out to be. This offensive half was about mistakes and missed opportunities NOT bad play calling.
Let the bench snap the ball. Better odds. I hate to get on players sometimes, but let's call a spade a spade. This guy sucks and could very realistically cost us games. Kick him in his ass. Maybe that's why the Jets released Pryor? Only can only hope.
There were definitely mistakes made, but the play calling isn't helping. He needs to adjust to the conditions and what the players are capable of doing.
So let's see, Bowles does not challenge the non-safety call and then leaves all 3 time outs on the board in a 3 point game? He appears to be from the Herm Edwards school of game mismanagement.
Putrid play by the center with the bad snaps, drop balls and fumbles, not too mention the holding call. We are self destructing with poor play offensively. TB needs to light up a fire under the offenses asses.
Once upon a time, long long ago, in a land far far away, we had butt fumble. Now we have an ass snap.
Costello says Long has an injured finger. I'm sure Mangold had injured fingers plenty of times, but he didn't suck. If he is unable to snap, then put Sam under center. You are only tempting fate (and your quarterback's health) further with this nonsense.
