I was like that as a kid. Far too emotional, the highs were massive, the lows stayed with me too long. I am not and never have been a professional sportsman.
The only thing I remember them saying is they needs Josh Allen's arm to throw through the winter winds in Buffalo.
I can see where the Bills thought he'd do alright up there. Big arm...big build...can run with purpose when necessary. We'll face him at the Met Nov. 11 and in Buffalo Dec. 9 Should be fun.
I thought he got hurt last Sunday and is out for a while. The Jets will probably face him at Buffalo though unless his O-Line gets him killed again.
its tough to say since injuries and spot limited time but right now to me darnold is easily performing the best. rosen probably gets the 2nd spot after a couple of bad games in a row by baker while rosen was solid yet not spectacular, and allen has to be last as he's been bad after his 1 good game and is now injured and out a few weeks. FWIW jackson is at least helping his team with his legs and is playing a few snaps every game so that may even put him ahead of allen right now even though he hasn't really quaterbacked yet.
It’ll sure be fun, I really hope fun for us more than for them, but Allen is no Mayfield and those Jets sure don’t look like today’s Jets, or at least they haven’t for the last couple of weeks, so it should be fun to kick some Buffalo’s ass.
I get why they’d say that but Allen will be a backup in a couple of years and the Bills will have to watch Rosen from afar succeed in Arizona and put up good numbers for them consistently.
After what we've seen so far I can't imagine anyone on this entire board wanting to trade Darnold for any of the other guys if given the chance. So from that perspective alone this rookie campaign has been going smashingly well thus far. I wanted to bring him along more slowly and let Teddy start the year on the field. And at times, especially during the Cleveland game I was getting nervous that he was going to get killed but now seeing how everything has shaken out not only did the Jets do the 100% right thing (thank god) Now Darnold has been looking like the NFL version of "the blob" that just keeps eating things around it and getting bigger, stronger, and better. And maybe its my blue collar perspective or something but the one thing I keep coming back to is just what a great kid he is. Is there an easier guy to root for ever? The whole package has been almost too good to be true so far so naturally as a cynical Jets fan that makes me slightly nervous
Trust me, even if Darnold becomes a Hall of Fame he still has some stinkers left in him, especially this year.
Fine by me! Haha I'll be glad to continue updating this if everyone goes down and Darnold keeps going up!
no he doens't but he's pretty much fucked at this point down 25 points in the 1st quarter. pass rush is going to tee off, cna't run it much,
Yup. Still pretty cool watching Rosen throw two pick six's against the same defense Darnold threw 3 TDs and 1 INT against, with a 98 rating
