apparently they don't really have any numbers yet from the worst areas where corpses are lying under debris. That 13 includes 7 dead in Virginia which is way North
There are already a bunch of stories concerning people who chose to stay, and neighbors have come back to find no sign of the people who stayed and their houses completely obliterated. It's not difficult to figure out what is likely to have happened to them.
Sheezus, why don't people LISTEN? Being concerned about looting means nothing when you're dead. I'm sure it's beyond devastating to leave your life behind, but at least you'll still have a life. I also turned on The Weather Channel again earlier today and it looks like the aftermath of the freaking Blitzkrieg in France WWII.

My next door neighbor hasn't covered his yet either. The weather has been delicious the past few days (outside of some rain). Hopefully we'll get some great foliage this year, but a lot of leaves are dropping. Bought a roll of burlap for my mums but haven't used it yet. It was supposed to frost the other night, but it didn't. I love the Fall! You can kick the Summer in the ass. I loathe it.
